Life Groups meet throughout the week and are intended to help people in 3 main areas.
1. Build Relationships - This is key in being supported in your growth as a Christian. Eph. 4:16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
2. Bible Based Living - The Bible states that we are a "new creation". This happens instantly when we ask Christ to be our Savior, yet we spend the rest of our life on earth learning what that means and how to live it out. Life Groups help us identify and practically live out those values. Rom. 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
3. Strategic Next Steps - Life Groups are a great way to hear God speak to you about your growth path. We are all called to be strategic in our growth.
1Cor. 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.
