The Adventure Women’s Ministry Vision Statement
Hebrews 10:25, Colossians 2:2
Not wanting to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, in ways that promote our being knit together in love, we, the women of The Adventure, have set forth the following vision as our guideline for all we do:
Our first and all encompassing vision is
Loving God and Loving Women.
Therefore, as we gather together in any capacity, we see…
1.…conversations and activities which promote the love of Christ, honoring The Lord and one another with our speech. James 3; 1 Corinthians 13:1
2.…conversations which honor our spouses (if applicable) and other family members, never sharing anything about them with others, without their permission. James 1:26
3.…gatherings of diverse natures, however large or small they may be, where, if we have observed that one of our sisters is in need of prayer or a little TLC, we have taken the time to stop and talk with her about her situation, asking ourselves how we can help. 1Peter 4:8; Romans 12:15
4.…a safe place, where not only our speech, attitudes, and hearts are honoring, loving, and kind, but also a place where we help and encourage one another in our daily walks with The Lord, not causing anyone to stumble in any area of struggle. Romans 14:13; Ephesians 5:4,18
…and finally, but definitely not of least importance, a place where any woman, who does not yet know the Lord Jesus, can come and be loved and introduced to Him…not only through our words, but also through our actions! 1Peter 3:15; Matthew 28:19-20; Colossians 3:17
You are invited to a place specifically for mother of preschoolers. Here you’ll experience authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope, all to help you be the best mom possible!
